Stone Dwarves are the most common of their kind in Arcur, and can be found in every Nation throughout in some number. When most people think of a Dwarf, it is the Stone Dwarves that they generally imagine. Stone Dwarves are most common in Norianir, which many believe is their ancestral homeland. Indeed, many Dwarven scholars speak of a great kingdom of the Stone Dwarves that once held some of the greatest power in Arcur – however, that kingdom was likely destroyed During the early stages of the Dragon War, as all records point to that kingdom laying in the dragon-infested mountains on the northern border of The Waste. Today, the Stone Dwarves have spread throughout Arcur, likely the second most common race in the world today after humans.
